SERVICES AND MINISTRIES
At Fairfield Baptist Church, we are committed to being a faithful and growing church that challenges believers to become passionate and devoted followers of Jesus Christ so as to make a spiritual impact in the community to the glory of our great God and Saviour. One of the ways we achieve this is by providing a platform for various age groups to meet regularly to discover Jesus together. We also endeavour to reach those in the community with the good news of Jesus Christ.
SUNDAY FAMILY SERVICE | 10:30am | All Ages
Our Sunday Family Service is a great place to worship God, learn from the Bible and meet others from the community. We are made up of a diverse range of cultures and age groups. Whether you know nothing, a little, or a lot about Jesus, we invite you to join us to discover more about Him. Our Sunday School runs in parallel with the Sunday Service, so while you’re enjoying the service, your children can be discovering Jesus in a unique way at Sunday School. Of course, if you prefer, they can stay with you in the service.
SUNDAY SCHOOL & CRÈCHE | 10:30am | Ages: 0-12 yrs
Sunday School runs in parallel with our Sunday Service. We are passionate about spreading the good news of Jesus Christ to all ages, including children. Our Sunday School program is designed to teach the Gospel to children in an engaging way.
If you have children, you are more than welcome to bring them along to the service knowing that they will be looked after by our caring Sunday School teachers. We also have a Crèche for babies, as well as a separate play area for toddlers. Both rooms include a sound system to ensure parents don’t miss hearing the service!
BIBLE STUDIES | Weekly on Thursday Mornings and Evenings – 10:30am; 7:15pm | All Ages
Our Bible studies are a great opportunity for you to get connected with God’s Word, the Bible, and also our church family. It doesn’t matter what level of knowledge you have of the Bible, we welcome all to come and study with us!
CLASS: Basic Christianity | Weekly on Tuesday Evenings – 6:30pm | All Ages
This course has been designed to provide with the fundamental truths that every new believer should know as they begin their new life in Christ. It can also serve as a refresher course for those who have been in Christianity for some time.

PRAYER MEETINGS | Weekly on Thursdays – 10:30am; Weekly on Sundays – 9:30am; Fortnightly on Saturdays – 9am | All Ages
We meet fortnightly on a Saturday, and weekly every Thursday morning and Sunday morning before Service to pray for the needs of our families, friends and the community.
We also use this time to collectively praise God for answers to prayers and also to praise Him for who He is.
You are invited to come along and bring your prayer and praise points so that we can join together in a time of prayer.
You are also encouraged to message us any prayer requests you have.
SWITCH YOUTH GROUP | Weekly on Fridays – 7pm | High School Students (Grade 7-12)
SWITCH is an energetic Christian Youth Group for high schoolers where you will find great fun, great food, and a great message of hope!
If you are looking for a Youth Group, then why don’t you come visit SWITCH?
What’s in the name? We are named SWITCH because we share the good news of Jesus Christ who switched places with us when He died on the cross for our sins. We also teach Biblical truths from God’s holy book so that those who attend can be switched on with God’s Word.
EVANGELISM | Fortnightly on Saturdays – 12pm | All Ages
We meet fortnightly on Saturdays to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ to our local community. Everyone of all ages is welcome to meet at our church cottage at 11:45am for prayer before taking to the streets of Fairfield, where we will be handing out Gospel tracts and engaging in conversations as God leads us. The harvest is ripe, the labourers are few!
